💗 A reflection, a reminder + gratitude
“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.”
– Simone Weil
Dear Sacred Circles Community,
Lately I’ve been reflecting on just how powerful our attention really is. What we choose to focus on shapes not only our energy but also how connected we feel to ourselves and others.
As I rest, these gifts have looked like: going for a walk, reading a few pages of a book, listening to a podcast that makes me laugh, or writing a thank-you note to someone who’s been on my mind. Each small act has shifted my energy, reminded me that care is always close at hand.
I’ve also been carried by the kindness of friendship and community. The check-ins, the gentle encouragement, the ways people have simply been there – all of it has been part of my healing. It’s such a powerful reminder: we don’t heal alone, but in circles of connection.
“This experience gave me permission to slow down and truly listen – to my body, spirit, and inner truth. In a world that pulls me in a thousand directions, Sally’s gentle guidance and soulful questions created a space where I could return to myself.
Through the deeply restorative practice of Yoga Nidra and the presence of a compassionate community, I reconnected with parts of myself I hadn’t touched in a long time. I found strength in vulnerability, courage in stillness, and delight in simply being. I’m leaving with a deeper sense of belonging and clarity about my next step. It was a gift I didn’t know I needed – and one I’ll carry forward.”

A Practice for This Week
✨ Take one deep breath and ask yourself, “Where is my attention flowing right now?”
✨ If it’s caught in worry or heaviness, simply notice it. No need to push it away, no need to get swept into it.
✨ Allow the thought or feeling to be present, and then gently bring your attention back to something nourishing – your breath, a tree outside the window, or a memory that makes you smile.
✨ Stay with that for three breaths, and notice how your energy shifts.
This is the heart of yoga and tantra: we don’t suppress emotions, and we don’t overindulge them. We allow what is present to be there, and then return to our own centre – guiding our attention so our energy supports rather than depletes us.
As I prepare for the launch of Return to Your Centre later this fall, I’m holding onto these small but powerful practices. This offering will be about weaving them into a rhythm that grounds, restores, and reconnects. I can’t wait to share it with you.
With gratitude + love,
