Sacred Circles Newsletter 🌟A pause, a practice, + a reflection

“In every moment the universe is whispering to you… there is wisdom for you in the morning songs of the birds, in the quiet rhythm of the ebbing sea.”
– Denise Linn

Dear Friend

Lately I’ve been leaning into the quieter frequencies of life – those subtle nudges, coincidences, and signs that seem to arrive when we finally slow down enough to notice.

Whether you call it the universe, your higher self, or simply your connection to the larger web of life, this guidance is always there. The challenge isn’t whether it’s speaking – it’s whether we’re quiet and courageous enough to listen.

In Tantra, this is called Kavi – the capacity to hear the whispering wisdom beneath the noise.

For me, this listening often happens in simple ways: through my practice, a morning walk, journaling beside a window, or resting in stillness. As a friend wisely reminded me, it’s not just about noticing the whispers… it’s about having the courage to truly receive them.

A Simple Practice to Support the Listening
When the world gets noisy – outside or inside – one of the simplest ways to return to presence is through the breath.
✨ Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
🌿 Inhale gently through the nose for 5.
🌿 Exhale slowly for 5 (or 8 if you need to settle).

For an extra layer of calm, try adding a soft hum on the exhale.
This is known in yoga as Bhramari, or “humming bee breath.”

Yogis have practiced it for thousands of years, and modern science now shows that humming stimulates the vagus nerve, helping the nervous system downshift into a state of calm and clarity.
No need to get it perfect – just a gentle, comfortable hum is enough. Even a few rounds can shift your state and make space for insight to arise.

📓 Grab your journal afterward and jot down anything that comes through.

As I shape the next season of Sacred Circles gatherings for 2025–26, I’d love to hear from you. Your voice truly matters.

Whether you’re drawn to meditation, yoga, circle time, in-person gatherings, or even future weekend retreats – your input will help me create offerings that feel nourishing and meaningful.

✨ To make it a little more fun: everyone who completes the short survey will be entered into a prize draw for a self-care pack (including a surprise as well as epsom bath salts, a cleansing aura spray, and a lovely journal).

I’d love to hear from you – it only takes 3 minutes, and it genuinely shapes what’s ahead.

🌼 A Thought for You
What if the guidance you’re seeking isn’t somewhere “out there,” but quietly whispering within – through your breath, your body, or the natural world around you?
The universe (or your higher self) often doesn’t speak in grand gestures. It nudges. It hums. It repeats itself softly until we pause long enough to hear. Each breath, each moment of stillness, each line in your journal creates space for this subtle wisdom to land.

🫶 The Power of Circles + What’s Ahead
We don’t do this work alone. There’s something deeply grounding about coming together – connecting with ourselves and with each other. When we breathe, reflect, and listen in community, something opens. It’s ancient. It’s human. It’s powerful.
