A Courage & Renewal / Yoga Nidra Event

Heart Centered Practices for
Healing and Connection

November 18 @ 1:00 pm 5:30 pm AST

Includes 4.5 hour retreat; with an optional Potluck Supper to follow

Location: Broad Cove Community Hall (7147 NS-331, Mill Village, NS B0J 2H0)

We live in challenging and complex times, where technology enables us to be hyper-connected to our work and to one another at all hours of the day, and where loneliness exists as a real health epidemic. At the same time, we know beauty, joy, and wonder also exist, because we’ve experienced it.   Our hearts are ever-holding the tension of what author and activist Parker J. Palmer refers to as, “harsh realities” and “real-life possibilities”.

Sally Steele and Tara Reynolds are Courage & Renewal Facilitators located on Nova Scotia’s Southern Shore.  Sally and Tara warmly invite you to experience a mini-retreat with a spacious pace and rhythm, on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at the Broad Cove Community Hall.  This event will include Yoga Nidra practices combined with Courage & Renewal approaches– to help turn down the volume and velocity of the outside world, and to amplify and attune to your own wise heart.  Autumn is the perfect opportunity to slow the cadence of our turbulent lives and remember how to connect with our true inner knowing.  Join us for an afternoon 1:00 pm-5:30 pm where you will:

  • Experience a trustworthy space where there is plenty of time for individual reflection, as well as generous listening & sharing
  • Engage with Yoga Nidra Practices for accessing the Heart’s wisdom;
  • Connect with your authentic self in community;
  • Enjoy the rare gift of time for rest and renewal;
  • Savour food, land, and spaciousness

We hope participants leave this mini-retreat with a deeper sense of their own wholeness, an increased capacity to let go of “perfection”, and with tangible skills to help integrate the broken and beautiful parts of one’s self, as pathways to healing, hope and joy.

This event will be limited to 20 people.
